Jingdezhen Porcelain in Tang Dynasty

As mentioned in the last video, the celadon found in the relics of kilns of mid-late Tang Dynasty demonstrated its features and showing a part of history of that reign.

Start with the shapes of the wares found, such as bowls, plates, ewers and some other special-shaped wares, which stands for a big process of firing porcelain at that time. Among these, one thing was caught our eyes which is called--Yaogu. Based on the discovery, archaeologists believed that Yaogu was from the Western Regions. And it leads to further reflection on the culture of mid-late Tang Dynasty, which means the ruler had highly acceptation and compatibility for the culture of Ancient Chinese Gentiles,. Meanwhile, the development of porcelain also means the prosperity of handicraft industry in Tang Dynasty.
